Trooyoos isn’t about making money, it’s about reusing items, de-cluttering your home, and helping out other people. A report can be made to Trooyoos Support by using the Report User button on the listing or talk to a Support staff on the Trooyoos Support channel in the Chat System. Trooyoos will investigate and when we find that our guidelines have been breached, punitive measures like account suspension or deletion will be enforced.
When arrangements have been made for an item pick-up, users can decide to use the delivery method rather than meeting up in person. By using Trooyoos, you will interact with other people. You take sole responsibility for all your interactions with others. We don’t monitor submissions or interactions, so it’s up to you to judge the honesty, reliability, and quality of others and their submissions. Do not share personal details that’s not related to item pick-up. Both users can arrange to meet up at a public place or outside of residence. Users can ask a friend or relative to accompany them for item pick-up.
Even though you’re looking to give away your items with the best of intentions, there are still some items we don’t allow on the app. This is only for items that are potentially breaking any laws, are unsafe, or anything that we feel is generally inappropriate or in violation of our policies. Please see our Terms of Use for a comprehensive list of items we don’t allow on the platform.

Happy giving and receiving are what Trooyoos is all about, so make a mutually agreeable time to collect items that you know you can keep – notwithstanding unforeseen circumstances, of course. We are all busy people and there is nothing more frustrating than making a time to collect something and having one party not show up. After failed attempts to reach out to the Receiver, Giver can click the “Report User” button on the Dashboard and choose the option “User Failed To Turn Up”. Trooyoos will assign a new user who has shown interest in your free stuff.
It’s handy for both parties involved, if the giver provides specific instructions on where the item can be collected from, for example at a public place, residence, or delivery. Another point of note when dealing with the collection of large or heavy items is to ensure that both the giver and receiver have considered the necessary assistance to help move and lift the item.
We collect your information when you sign up and each time you use the app so that you can get the most out of Trooyoos. Please read our privacy policy for more details.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your children have provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have registered a user under 18 years of age, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
When you suspect a listing or a User of fraud, or a chat that goes against our guidelines, please notify us by using the ‘Report User” option on the Dashboard and chat windows.
Giving away stuff freely to others is satisfying and rewarding, and Trooyoos has made this process so quick, easy and safe for the convenience of both givers and receivers. It is also appropriate to remain anonymous when giving away or receiving stuff in the community and Trooyoos has made this possible for both in this process. Stay safe and happy giving!!
